As part of my Honours year, I wrote a dissertation about typography.
The Observation:
The relationship we have with typography has shifted from one a select few had to one which we all now share.
Thanks to the widespread availability of desktop publishing software and word processing tools, more people now have the opportunity to experiment with type in their everyday lives. How has this change affected our relationship with typography?
Has people’s ability to experiment with type changed how aware they are of typography around them?
