Rosemary Planet Refillery Murals
Conveying a message of positivity towards the community and the environment using hand lettering.
I was fortunate enough to be able to collaborate with a talented illustrator on my course, Yasmin Ali, for this project. I developed the typography/lettering and the layout and she developed the illustrations.
The Brief:
The owner of the shop wanted to show the shop’s values of creating a positive impact in the community and on the environment.
Rosemary Planet Refillery is a grocery shop in Aberdeen which sells all of its products without packaging. Customers bring their own reusable containers and fill up from a collection of jars and containers in-store, reducing the need for single-use plastics.
We had planned to paint this mural earlier this year but were unable to due to lockdown. I’ve prepared these mock-ups to give an idea of what we plan for it to look like when it’s safe to do so.
